Fulton has a population of approximately 4,000 residents and offers small-town living at its very best. Located in Howard County, Fulton is nestled along the Chesapeake Bay and about 40 miles northeast of Washington D.C. With shops, restaurants, parks, and coffee shops, living here offers residents plenty to do and see.
The beginnings of this small yet vibrant community can be traced back to the 1700ss. It was founded by Thomas Browne II, who was the first to survey the land. Fulton was established in 1882 and was named after the popular Baltimore Sun Editor, Charles Fulton.
With a rich and old history, it’s no surprise that Fulton is home to some beautiful, historic homes. A drive through this neighborhood will reveal many architectural styles, ranging from Colonial Revival to Craftsman to custom-built homes.
