Welcome to Bethesda

Become a part of this vibrant and picturesque community

Located adjacent to Washington, D.C., Bethesda is known as the urban center of Montgomery County. This bustling city, with a population of approximately 62,000 residents, is one of the most affluent and sought after communities in the United States. It is known for its easy access to nature, commitment to supporting the arts, cultural events, luxury shopping, and chef-driven eateries.
Bethesda had a meek and humble beginning - not at all like the vibrant city it is today. At first, Bethesda was simply a rural way station, allowing local farmers to transport various products. It gained its name after the local church, which was established in 1820. It wasn’t until the 19th century that Bethesda began to propose and grew into the lively hub it is today.
Homes found here reflect a diverse array of architectural styles. Here you will find a mixture of Tudor, Georgian, Colonial, and Craftsman-style homes. Regardless of your taste, this town will have something to suit you.
